In 2026, the Oriol Marès & Talal Fayad Quartet will perform as Jazz Headliners at ClarinetFest 2026 in Incheon, South Korea, (see here) one of the most important international events dedicated to the clarinet. The festival has featured renowned artists such as Paquito D’Rivera, Martin Fröst, Eddie Daniels and Giora Feidman. The quartet will present their project Estuarium and collaborate with Japanese clarinetist Eiji Taniguchi, strengthening artistic connections in Asia.
Building on this invitation, the quartet is extending the tour to China, with concert offers including Blue Note Beijing and JZ Club Shanghai, while expanding opportunities to present their music to new audiences. The project has already received support from Musica Máxima and Ibermúsicas, and is inviting other donors that would like to be part of the story.
