masterclasses Professor Nobuya Sugawa and Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy, Japan - June/July 2026

Gisela will finish her Master’s Degree at Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2026. As part of her development she is pursuing to take masterclasses with Professor Nobuya Sugawa and to participate in the Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy, both taking place in Japan. Professor Sugawa is one of the most influential figures in the classical saxophone world.

The main objective of this project is to deepen my interpretative skills through intensive work with a leading artist. My artistic ambition is to bring classical and contemporary saxophone repertoire to a wider audience. To achieve this, I aim to reach the highest level of technical excellence and musical maturity. I consider direct contact with Professor Sugawa a unique opportunity to advance toward this goal.
